Chloe Sharp repping her university with pride.
Theta Tau Chapter is proud to celebrate Chloe Sharp , who was named a Goldwater Scholar, one of the nation’s most prestigious undergraduate research awards. Inspired by the Flint Water Crisis, she chose to pursue a degree in environmental engineering to address challenges in clean water accessibility. Her research, supported by a National Science Foundation Research program, explored the use of sustainable materials like clay and crawfish shells for wastewater treatment, with the goal of developing low- cost solutions for resource-limited communities. Beyond academics, she has served her chapter as director of health, wellness and accountability, director of sisterhood and director of community service. Chloe credits her Alpha Phi sisters for inspiring her to apply for the scholarship, saying, “My sisters have always encouraged me to chase opportunities I might not have considered; I truly wouldn’t be here without them.”
