After having successfully completed this lesson, the participants can:

ELEMENT 5.1 - LEGAL REQUIREMENTS

Learning objective:

36) The participants can explain the legal requirements and practical skills for using fall arrest systems when working at height (Knowledge, intermediate level )

The instructor shall:

Explain the systems currently in use (rail/wire/inertia reel)

Demonstrate how to correctly identify the relevant standard markings

Explain manufacturer and/or statutory inspection periods

Explain the correct storage and maintenance

The participants shall:

Ask questions when in doubt and share relevant experiences
