𝑅𝐷 = 6.75m

Therefore, GWO recommends that the anchor points used during the evacuation exercises are placed a minimum of 6.75m above the ground or any structure which a person may come into contact with, in the event of a fall. Any equipment used during this GWO training module shall meet or exceed the minimum requirements of the national standards listed in Table A4 -1. When working in a country where there is no applicable national standard then the equipment shall meet or exceed the minimum requirements of the European standards.
