School of Engineering The School of Engineering, within the College of Aviation, is committed to fostering innovation and excellence in engineering education. Our mission is to equip students with a comprehensive range of knowledge and skills, providing them with a solid foundation in engineering principles while addressing the evolving demands of the aviation and aerospace industries. We achieve this by offering tailored courses and programs of study for both our undergraduate and graduate students. The school is responsible for an associate program in Engineering Fundamentals, as well as bachelor’s degrees in Engineering and Engineering Technology. At the graduate level, we offer specialized programs in Systems Engineering, Aerospace Engineering and Airworthiness Engineering — each designed to advance the expertise of our students and meet the needs of rapidly evolving industries.

PROGRAMS

Associate of Science in Engineering Fundamentals

The A.S. in Engineering Fundamentals provides a foundation in math, physics and practical design, preparing students for further studies in engineering. The program introduces core engineering concepts, including problem solving, experiment analysis and teamwork. Students gain hands-on experience with basic models and simulations while strengthening communication and ethical decision-making skills. Graduates are well-prepared to pursue careers or advanced degrees in aerospace, mechanical engineering or technology.
