And he looked around to see her who had done this thing. But the woman, fearing and trembling, knowing what had happened to her, came and fell down before Him and told Him the whole truth. And He said to her, “Daughter, your faith has made you well. Go in peace, and be healed of your affliction.
When Jesus departed from there, two blind men followed Him, crying out and saying, “Son of David, have mercy on us!” And when He had come into the house, the blind men came to Him. And Jesus said to them, “Do you believe that I am able to do this?” They said to Him, “Yes, Lord.”Then He touched their eyes, saying, “According to your faith let it be to you.”
church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. God’s ministers also have a part to play, not in just supplying oil and placing hands on someone, but also having a solid foundation of faith in having God’s authority to carry out this request. An anointed cloth began as a way of healing the sick without being physically present. The oil symbol - izes God’s power, through the Holy Spirit and the cloth, a vehicle for the oil to travel. The power to heal comes from God alone, not from His ministers nor from the materi- als used, however, both the minis - ter and recipient must have faith in God’s ability to heal them through this proxy. God is our rock and our salvation, He is also the great comforter and healer. He doesn’t need oil, fabric or men to carry out His will. He uses them to teach His people more about Himself and His way of life.
Both minister and recipient must have faith in God’s ability to heal

There is no mag- ic power in physical materials to heal someone any more than it is able to give one the divine right of rulership. These symbols act as re - minders of what they represent and stand for—Power and Authority! Cotton and olive oil aren’t mag - ic, but a minister would not try to anoint someone with tissue paper and Kool-Aid. There’s a specific purpose to the materials. According to Faith If those materials do not carry the power to heal, then where does the power come from? Simply put, the power is God’s through the Holy Spirit. But the process of healing does not rely solely on God’s pow- er. Recall, Christ performing mira- cles in His own country— He could do no mighty work there, and he marveled at their unbelief. In Matthew 9:27-29 we see how im - portant faith is for the one receiving God’s help:
Similar to the woman who touched Christ’s garment and was healed not by physical contact but by her be - lief—the blind men also had to be - lieve and demonstrate faith! God has the ability to heal human beings of anything, but often allows an individual’s faith to be the decid - ing factor. In James 5:14-15 we find another area where faith is involved. The verses state: Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the
