SAFETY AND SECURITY
Campus Safety First At Embry-Riddle, safety is our top priority, whether on the flight line or on campus. The Campus Safety and Security Department offers several services to help students protect themselves and their property. Services include safety escorts, motorist assistance and the popular “Lease-a-Lock” program that rents high-security bicycle and motorcycle locks to students. The campus is patrolled 24/7, year-round.
Be sure your Eagle signs up for Eagle Alerts — a notification system that keeps the community informed when there are added risks so that preventative action can be taken. The Campus Safety and Security Department also oversees emergency management in case of storms or other threats. The Emergency Operations Team (EOT) manages and communicates during emergencies, providing timely updates to students.
