Write-in Candidate Filing Period – Write-in candidates may request and file candidate filing write-in documents to become a qualified write-in candidate on the ballot. 1 st Pre-election Statement Due – Candidates must file the first pre-election campaign disclosure statement. Voter Information Guides – The delivery of County Voter Information Guides to the U.S. Postal Service begins and will continue until they are delivered to all active registered voters. Early Voting Period – Early votes on mail ballots may be cast for this election. Voters may also request a replacement mail ballot at the Registrar of Voters office during the entire period or at additional Early Vote Sites during the week prior to Election Day. For a list of early voting locations and hours of operation, visit the Registrar of Voters website. Mail Ballots – Mail Ballots are delivered to the U.S. Postal Service. Voter Registration Deadline – Deadline for a voter ’s registration to be updated and still receive a mail ballot. After this date, voter registration must be completed in person. 2 nd Pre-election Statement Due – All committees must file the second pre-election campaign disclosure statement Form 460. Election Day – The Registrar of Voters office and all polling places will be open for voting and mail ballot drop-off from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. The first results will be posted by 8:30 p.m. Election Certification – The Registrar of Voters is required to certify the results of the 2024 General Election no later than 30 days after the election.
