The Vestry will be delivered by two well-respected devel- opers with strong roots and an established presence in Montclair. ments and Montclair-based Greenwood Development has been responsible for the con- version of the historic Well- mont Theater into a concert venue, as well as many other residential and commercial ini- tiatives within the Township. “We’re excited to begin con- struction on The Vestry, a stylish new rental building that will bring designer in- dustrial inspired apartments and desired amenities to the eastern gateway to Bloomfield Ave.,” said Nick Hollenbeck , Sterling’s director of sales and Marketing. “This dynamic, transit-friendly residential ad- dress combines a chic living en- vironment with an ideal walk- able lifestyle and easy access to great public transportation, charming Church Street and the redeveloping Lackawanna Plaza retail center located two blocks away.” “The Vestry has been de- signed with the surrounding community in mind,” adds David Genova , principal of Greenwood Development. “Its sleek and modern exterior mixes old and new architecture to blend seamlessly with the area’s century-old homes and Bloomfield Avenue’s distinc- tive residential and retail streetscape. It will also be constructed using sustainable building techniques and ma- terials to ensure it’s developed in an environmentally respon- sible fashion.” Designed byMontclair-based Sionas Architects , The Ves- try’s will boast a striking exte- rior red brick and glass design. The building will offer an eclec- tic mix of studio, one- two- and three-bedroom homes. Several of the apartments will offer expansive outdoor balconies. Residents will have access to a package of in-building ame- nities, including a bike share program, zip-car, covered parking and an indoor/outdoor rooftop lounge. The Vestry will also offer approximately 1,600 square-feet of ground floor re- tail space, bringing even more services and conveniences close to home. In addition to be located near the Bay Street Train Station with fast New Jersey Transit service into to Secaucus Junc- tion, Newark, Hoboken, Penn Station and New York City, residents will find a quick trip to major highways, including Rte. 3, Rte. 46 and the Garden State Parkway. n
