The new Class A property is home to various practice groups with the world- renowned Penn Medicine and University of Pennsylvania Health System. Size: 135,000 SF Torcon served as Construction Manager for St. Christopher’s Hospital for Chil- dren’s $110 million expansion project in North Philadelphia, including the de- velopment of the new 135,000 SF. Pediatric Critical Care Tower. The four-story tower adds 50 critical care beds and 60 Level IIIC NICU beds in private rooms. Highlights of the facility include a state of the art dental space equipped with three sedation rooms, point of care testing alcoves, a second standalone pharmacy sta- tion and an air balloon mural comprised of 180,000 individual marbles welcoming patients and guests into the hospital. The building also includes a second helipad sized for larger helicopters and direct access to critical care.
