OFFICE Size: 450,000 SF, 18 stories Berger Organization purchased the asset free and clear of existing debt. The 18-sto- ry value-add office tower is located on 1.6 acres in downtown Newark, across from Washington Park, two blocks to the Newark Broad Street commuter light rail, 1/2 mile to Newark Penn Station, and close to the area’s major highway network. Completed in 1970, the building features a fitness center, shared conference rooms, on-site parking, business conveniences, full-service cafeteria, energy management system, 24-hour security, an impressive granite lobby, and views of the Manhattan skyline.

Alfred Sanzari Enterprises bolstered its multifamily portfolio with the acquisition of Greenway Village, a 49-unit apartment complex in Middlesex County’s Metuchen. The purchase represented an opportunity for Alfred Sanzari Enterprises to acquire a newly-built asset in a submarket where multifamily housing is in high demand. Built in 2016, Greenway Village features one-bedroom apartments with nine-foot ceilings, recessed lighting, hardwood flooring and decorative crown molding. Kitchens and bathrooms boast high-end granite countertops, stainless-steel appliances and ceramic tile. The strategically located property is within walking distance of shopping, dining and NJ Transit’s Metuchen Station.
