Size : 302,900 SF Torcon, Inc. served as the construction manager for the completion of a $145 mil- lion student housing project on Rowan University’s campus in Glassboro, New Jersey. Completed in August of 2016, the new 302,900 SF residential facility, added on-campus housing for 1,400 freshmen students. The project, named Holly Pointe Commons, consists of dual 4-story and 7-story buildings interconnected by a three-level bridge and features an innovative, serpentine shaped footprint, creat- ing a campus oval with greenspace for student gatherings. Additionally, the proj- ect features a 20,000 square foot dining facility, seminar rooms and convenient access to laundry service. Designed with sustainability incorporated into every detail, Holly Pointe Commons is targeting LEED Silver certification.
