Ruff Runner and Yappy Hour
On your mark, get set, go! Pearland Parks & Recreation will once again host its Ruff Runner and Yappy Hour, proudly presented by Epic Plumbing, on Saturday, Sept. 23, at Independence Park. Lace up your running shoes and join the race! If a 5K isn’t your thing, fear not: There will be alternate routes and distances better-suited for walkers, participants competing with pets, and kids (14 years and under). After the race, celebrate with us at the post-race Yappy Hour for free hospitality, music and a medal ceremony. To register or learn more about Ruff Runner, visit pearlandtx.gov/run . Trick-or-treaters of all ages are invited out to this free community-wide event that will feature a variety of entertainment. Local businesses and organizations will line the “trail” to pass out candy and other goodies. Food vendors will be on-site selling tasty treats and beverages.
