TOM PHILLIPS Tom Phillips trusted in Christ when he was 12 years old at a Word of Life Bible Club. As a young person, Tom developed a passion for music and youth ministry. He studied music and education at Tennessee Temple University, where he met the love of his life, Fay Morrison. Tom and Fay spent 43 years in faithful ministry with Word of Life, serving in Tennessee, California, Florida, and New York. Currently, Tom is the Senior Pastor at New Heights Baptist Church in Ringgold, Georgia. He and Fay have three married sons and twelve grandchildren. Tom’s life verse is Colossians 2:6–7; “Therefore, as you received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in him, rooted and built up in him and established in the faith, just as you were taught, abounding in thanksgiving.” His contagious joy and love for God continues to encourage everyone he encounters .
