In this session, the speaker will provide tips on needling difficult animals and challenging acupoints (e.g., sensitive or potentially dangerous points), and how and when to use acupuncture techniques such as electro-acupuncture, aqua-acupuncture, pneumo-acupuncture, laser acupuncture, etc. Some commonly used classical acupoints in small animals will also be covered in this session. In this session, the speaker will provide a brief history of Traditional Chinese Medicine with a focus on acupuncture and the variable acupuncture techniques that are employed.
