MAAG Americas Interns
July is the month to recognize and celebrate our interns! Interns are the future of industrial manufacturing and are important for the future of MAAG Group. MAAG Americas currently has four interns in manufacturing, die plate, and electrical engineering departments: Brian Moran, Jonathan Anderson and Daniel Anderson, and Jacob Reese. Brain Moran has been working with the Die Plate Engineering team for about 1 year. He is currently attending Virginia Western Community College and plans to transfer to Virginia Tech next year. He supports the die plate teams with creating bill of materials for customer orders, updating and maintaining drawings, and helps with various tasks in engineering and the machine shop. Jonathan and Daniel Anderson are gaining hands-on experience in the design and documentation of electrical systems for industrial control applications. Their responsibilities include creating and updating electrical schematics, selecting appropriate components, and supporting the development of control panel layouts. They are also learning to ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and to maintain organized documentation and bill of materials. Jacob Reese joined the assembly team as an intern on June 16th, 2025, to assist with all mechanical aspects of assembly. Jacob will be assisting with the builds on all aspects of our equipment along with tear down and clean up prior to crating.
