This is a unique and special individual. Simply put, we believe he needs to go to a progressive program that focuses on red genetics. If we had a significant red program, we would keep him here to use, but we look forward to partnering with whoever buys him - if it’s an AI stud, a progressive purebred program, a red angus herd, or anyone who truly appreciates good cattle regardless of their color! His phenotype is that of a powerful breeding bull - he looks like a BEEF bull! Structure may be his greatest asset, standing on an ideal hoof coming into a powerful and flexible leg that’s hard to create. His individual performance has been extraordinary; he fits right in pound-for-pound with the other spring bulls in the pen. From a pedigree perspective, his dam, Swain Dulce Leonita C109J, stems from our Avery cow family and is a special treasure for us who will never leave here. She is featured by ST Genetics as a representative of her sire OMF Epic, and her first son is the powerhouse, Swain Advocate C309L owned by Greg and Carrie Dotson. He is an outcross to almost all of the traditional red gene pool and brings an excellent EPD profile along with that with 16 traits in the top 50%!
