BRED COWS SWAIN AVERY COW FAMILY
Like Angelica C123J, Reese C204K comes from the Swain Avery 405B family. She is more moderate framed and is a super star calf mother! We have a few Boulder daughters, and they are truly excellent, hard-working cows that are beautiful to look at with wonderful udders! We have retained two exciting heifers out of her who continue our journey in this branch of the Avery family. She has calved easy and brought big stout heifers to weaning each year. We hate to see this one go, but with the daughters we are keeping, we know we have a foundation to build on. Check out the planned mating EPDs on her mating to Quadrant! To say the least, it’s an exciting cross, and we have already seen it work multiple times on the Avery cow family. C123J and her page mate, Reese C204K, are the first two females we have ever let leave the farm out of our Swain Avery 405B cow family. They are some of our very best and productive cows. We have retained a daughter out of C123J by Swain Advocate C309L that we are very high on. This is another efficiency oriented, easy doing female with a beautiful udder who is big footed, looks like a female and walks on a great foot!
