To date, more than 3,000 trees have been planted, offsetting over 450 tonnes of CO₂. Engineering growth with purpose To meet increasing global demand, Delta Fire is currently investing more than £1 million in a 975sqm extension to its Norwich based facility. This will include: • Increased warehousing and assembly space. • Project work areas for R&D and prototyping. • New automated machinery to enhance productivity and precision. “This is more than an expansion,” says Ian. “It’s a strategic move to support our long-term commitment to sustainable growth and UK-based manufacturing.” Ian, who founded the business 35 years ago, reflects proudly on the journey: “Delta Fire has grown beyond anything I could have imagined – from one man in a workshop to a global supplier at the forefront of innovation. whom have been with us for more than 25 years.” The next generation leading the charge Now in its second generation of leadership, Delta Fire’s future is also being shaped by Ian’s grandson, Jordon King, who serves as Chief Sustainability Officer and is a key member of the senior management team. “Joining Delta Fire after university, I quickly saw that sustainability wasn’t an afterthought – it was something my grandfather had built into the business from the very start,” Jordon says. “I’m proud to carry that forward and help position Delta Fire as a global leader in responsible manufacturing.” Jordon has spearheaded award submissions and represents the company across sustainability networks and national manufacturing forums: “We have an incredible story to tell – and a responsibility to set a high standard for others in our industry.” Saving lives, protecting the planet With more than three decades of experience, two King’s Awards, and a firm grip on the future, Delta Fire is not just building world-class firefighting products, it’s redefining how innovation and sustainability can co-exist in British manufacturing.
