Hand Arm Vibration Health Surveillance. Bill McAllister, Managing Director of Safety Advice Centre also presented on Asbestos. An informative Q&A session highlighted that many people today, and not all of them young, are not even aware of the dangers of asbestos, which really shows why an organisation such as BuildHealth is necessary in Northern Ireland. A series of relevant exhibition stands signposted attendees to organisations such as Cancer Focus, CITBNI, HSENI, Lighthouse Club, NISG, Safety Advice Centre, Health Matters Occupational Health, Sundström Safety AB and The FFP Company - RPE Face Fit Testing Services. Statements of Commitment were signed during the event by two new member organisations – Water Solutions Ireland and Charles Brand Ltd.
