FLOOR FINISHES Gate Interiors was sub-contracted to complete floor finishes at Belfast International Airport, working closely alongside main contractor Piperhill Construction to deliver a complex and detailed project on schedule. LVT, sheet vinyl and screed floor finish were installed by the Bangor-based business in the duty free and arrivals areas. Gemma Todd, Director, said, “This was a varied and evolving project for us, with all work carried out by Gate Interiors’ experienced team. We advised on design and product selection for the duty-free project. “The finished project really stands out in our portfolio due to the complexity of the preparations, our involvement in the product selection process and the finished aesthetic of the project.” A contract flooring and design company, Gate Interiors offers product, specification and design advice, alongside the preparation, supply and install of all floor coverings. Sub-contracted by Piperhill Construction, H McLarnon & Son installed roofing and cladding for the extension and upgrade of Belfast International Airport. The project ran smoothly for the Co Antrim firm, with no significant challenges arising throughout its duration.
