A SMARTER WAY TO HEAT NORTHERN IRISH HOMES Designed in-house by Grant technical specialists, each Integrated Heating Package brings together three key system components - the Grant Aerona R290 heat pump, Grant Integrated Unit for hot water storage and a choice of heat emitters, all optimised to work in harmony. Each package is designed to the individual property’s requirements, ensuring it meets relevant building regulations and energy requirements. CENTRE STAGE: GRANT AERONA R290 HEAT PUMP At the heart of every integrated package is the Grant Aerona R290 air-to-water heat pump, engineered to deliver high efficiency and low environmental impact. Using natural refrigerant R290 which has a Global Warming Potential of just 3 - the Aerona R290 range aligns with evolving legislation around refrigerant use while
still delivering robust performance in the Northern Irish climate. Key specifications include: • Models available in outputs from 4kW to 16kW • Achieves A+++ ErP ratings with SCOP values up to 4.88 • Features such as PWM pump, twin rotary compressor and anti-freeze protection • Quiet Mark accreditation for ultra-low noise levels across the full range SIMPLIFIED HOT WATER STORAGE: THE GRANT INTEGRATED UNIT Complementing the Aerona R290, the Grant Integrated Unit offers a pre- plumbed, space-efficient solution for hot water storage. It consolidates the cylinder and system controls into a single unit, ideal for plant rooms or utility spaces in compact new-build homes. This design not only enhances installation speed and consistency across developments but also improves overall energy efficiency and reduces site labour requirements. OPTIMISED HEAT EMITTERS FOR EVERY SPACE To deliver warmth efficiently throughout the home, Grant offers two versatile emitter options: • Grant Uflex Underfloor Heating: Ensures even heat distribution, integrates
easily into new-build flooring types, and supports consistent ambient temperatures. • Grant Afinia Aluminium Radiators: Lightweight and quick to respond, these radiators are available in a wide range of sizes and styles, offering flexibility in system design. Whether used individually or in combination, both emitters are fully compatible with the Aerona R290 and support overall system efficiency. SEAMLESS CONTROL WITH THE AERONA SMART CONTROLLER To optimise efficiency of the integrated system, the Aerona Smart Controller is supplied alongside the R290 heat pump range. With a modern, touchscreen interface that simplifies end-user operation, it enables remote access via WiFi, supports load and weather compensation and offers off-site diagnostics - giving both installers and homeowners greater control and peace of mind.
