Félicita- tions Jacob – nous sommes fiers de toi et enthousiastes pour la suite. » Charron a ajouté qu’il s’agit d’une période emballante pour l’organisation et qu’il est heureux de contribuer à raviver la fièvre des séries éliminatoires à Rockland. « La communauté a été formidable. Elle s’est vraiment ralliée à nous tout au long de la saison », a-t-il déclaré. « Partout où nous allons, on voit et on entend à quel point les gens sont excités et heureux d’avoir du hockey en séries. L’énergie à la patinoire est incroyable, c’est vraiment comme avoir un septième joueur sur la glace. »
Maintenant qu’il a déterminé son avenir après son passage avec les Rockland Nationals, Jacob Charron peut de nou- veau se concentrer sur l’aide qu’il peut apporter à son équipe pendant les séries éliminatoires. Les Nats affrontent actuellement les Canadiens de Carleton Place en finale de la Coupe Bogart, et Charron a joué un rôle clé dans le parcours de l’équipe jusqu’à ce stade. « L’organisation des Nationals a été formidable pour moi, des propriétaires à la meilleure équipe d’entraîneurs au pays, en passant par les excellents joueurs sur la glace », a déclaré Charron. « Nos proprié- taires nous traitent bien et nos entraîneurs s’assurent toujours que nous avons ce dont nous avons besoin. Ça m’a vraiment aidé à me développer en tant que joueur de hockey. » Alors que ses jours dans l’uniforme des Nats tirent à leur fin, Charron a décidé de rejoindre le programme de hockey de l’Uni- versité Concordia pour la prochaine saison. « J’ai senti une très bonne connexion, et c’était tout simplement le bon choix pour moi », a-t-il affirmé au sujet de sa décision. « Une fois les documents signés, j’ai senti la pression retomber et j’ai pu me concentrer sur le hockey. C’était une décision qui me trottait dans la tête depuis un certain temps, et ça fait du bien d’avoir pu la régler. » Les Nationals n’ont pas tardé à souligner
