The overlap between health challenges and SNAP recipiency is further emphasized when examining the share of recipients who have a work-limiting health condition. New Yorkers receiving SNAP are more than three times as likely as non-recipients to report having a work-limiting health condition or disability (52% vs 16%) (Figure 6).
