Dear Friends, Welcome to the 2024 Pink Roses Teal Magnolias celebration! For the last 14 years, our event has become a South Jersey tradition, raising more than $8 million for breast and gynecologic programs at MD Anderson Cancer Center at Cooper. I am thrilled to see our community of survivors, families, friends, and health care providers coming together once again, united in the fight against women’s cancers. With your support, we continue to expand and grow our services and add new cancer experts to our team to meet the increasing demand for our multidisciplinary approach to cancer care. In 2024, we added a fifth gynecologic oncologist to our group to better serve our growing community of patients. Our breast cancer team continues to lead the way in the region as the largest breast cancer program in South Jersey. Thanks to cancer education, screening, early detection, and advances in treatment, the survival rates for cancer patients are increasing. But there is still work to do. The funds we raise help us to ensure women and their families have access to advanced cancer care and support services throughout their cancer journey. I would like to take this opportunity to recognize the group of remarkable women who serve on our planning committee. Thank you for being part of this movement and helping to make this event a success year after year. I also extend my thanks to our clinical and administrative teams for their ongoing support in upholding the legacy of this event. This year we are proud to recognize our Pink and Teal Heroes – Christina Chu, MD, FACOG, Pauline Germaine, DO, and Rebecca Jaslow, MD – who are on the frontline, providing expert and compassionate care to our patients, each and every day. Pink Roses Teal Magnolias is more than an event, more than just a fundraiser. It is a celebration of community and hope. It is a sisterhood. It is our ongoing commitment to fighting women’s cancers as a dedicated, collaborative, and inspired team, because at MD Anderson at Cooper – no one fights cancer alone . Sincerely,
Generosa Grana, MD Director, MD Anderson Cancer Center at Cooper
