From behind the screen, we play a crucial role in their care, silently rooting for their recovery with each scan or procedure. In breast imaging, I am acutely aware of the vulnerability patients feel when they see us. I strive not only to be a physician, guiding them through their journey, but also their advocate, as I strongly believe every patient needs support to navigate the complexities of our healthcare system.
