Premium leisure travel demand is robust in 2026

Samir Hamadeh , Founder & CEO of UAE-based Elevate World , explains how the travel and tourism group is combining destination expertise, intelligent technology and global distribution to help travel partners respond faster, sell smarter and build confidence across a changing market The intelligence behind the journey S amir Hamadeh talks about AHEAD OF THE CURVE Hamadeh becomes particularly animated when discussing the group’s proprietary technology, which plays a pivotal role in powering this ecosystem, however, he is quick to put its role in perspective. “Technology isn't replacing relationships; it's giving our people better tools to support their growth.” That balance is crucial in a market where demand can change quickly. “Rather than reacting to change, we've built our business around anticipating it,” says Hamadeh. This means moving well beyond the conventional remit of a destination management company (DMC). Hotels, airlines, attractions, tourism authorities and international sellers increasingly need a partner that can interpret demand, advise on product, connect supply to the right channels and help convert interest into bookings. “We see ourselves as an extension of our partners' businesses, combining local expertise, commercial insight and technology to help them make better decisions today while preparing for the opportunities of tomorrow,” Hamadeh explains. A BROADER DEMAND BASE The current demand picture supports that diversified approach. The UK, Western Europe, CIS and Eastern Europe remain important source markets, while interest is broadening across a wider international mix. Luxury leisure continues to perform strongly, supported by premium hospitality and personalised experiences, with family travel another important contributor. Business events are also gaining ground as the UAE invests in venues, infrastructure and international events. Regional developments have inevitably influenced travel sentiment, with some travellers taking a short-term wait- and-see approach. Demand for other destinations in Elevate World’s portfolio has

travel as a connected system, but never loses sight of the people who make it work. The Founder and CEO of Elevate World is clearly energised by the possibilities created when local knowledge, technology and commercial intelligence operate together, rather than as separate parts of the visitor journey. That thinking sits at the heart of Elevate World. Its businesses span destination management, business events, cruises, luxury travel, digital distribution and travel technology, serving partners across the UAE, wider GCC, Indian Ocean and Southeast Asia. Holistic by nature, Elevate World goes way beyond handling passengers on the ground. The core aim of the business is connecting product, demand and distribution more effectively.

expectations are evolving, booking patterns are less predictable and external events can alter sentiment with little warning. That’s why Elevate World’s strategy focuses on close monitoring of traveller behaviour, source-market activity and commercial performance, using those signals to help partners diversify, adjust products and identify opportunities earlier.
