Meet Lydia Christianson fromKent Clinic

Lydia Christianson Physical Therapist, DPT, OCS Clinic: Lead Kent

She’s a Midwest girl who loves playing outdoors in the Northwest. Lydia hikes, camps and snowshoes all over the Cascades. She loves to explore Seattle too. In sixth grade, Lydia listened to a presentation by a Physical Therapist at her school’s Career Day, and thought, “That’s what I want to do.” As she learned more about physical therapy, she was drawn to the relational aspect of the job and the way it combines her love for movement, anatomy and exercise. After earning both her BS in Biomedical Science and her Doctorate in Physical Therapy degrees from Marquette University, she moved 2000 miles from her family to work in Washington. Lydia appreciates the opportunities OPT gives her to grow as a therapist as well as the fun, passionate and engaging people who make it fun to come to work every day. Education: • Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from Marquette University • B.S. in Biomedical Science, Marquette University
