SUCCESS STORY

“My Journey to Diamond”

I praise and honour God for this opportunity to stand here in front of everyone. This is not by my might, but because of His grace. I praise and thank God for this wonderful woman, Alma, a woman who chose to serve by transforming people’s lives. Thank you, Alma, for not being selfish. When this business idea came to your mind, you found a special reason to share the business with other families. You didn’t choose only your family. I pray for long life and more blessings for you. We appreciate you. I am Ivy Charamba. I was born and raised in Zimbabwe. Life was never easy back home, and that drove me to come and look for a job here in South Africa in 2014. When I got my first job, my salary was R2,300 a month. To make my story short, I joined the INUKA Business in March 2021 after meeting my divine helper, Nolwazi. I appreciate you dearly for introducing me to the business. Unfortunately, she quit the business three months after recruiting me. At that time, when I met her, I was drained by having a guest who was constantly coming into my home every month and leaving on the very same day. That guest was my salary. My upline came at the right time. The Question Is: How Did I Survive? Now the question is: How did I survive in this business for the past five years?

To my very special person, my grandma in business, Madosini Nandipha Mtumi: When my upline left the business, you picked me up and held my hand. Thank you for recognising my potential for growth. It was worth it. We fought a good fight, even on that last day of my Diamond PV update. You stood by me unapologetically. I appreciate you. Not forgetting the leaders from the SUNRISERS team, the list is endless. You showed me love and support from the time I became part of this journey until today. I am so grateful. To my sister, who is based in Zimbabwe, Sipiwe Masvikeni, and Mr Masvikeni: I can write a book about us. Our relationship was designed by the Almighty Himself. He had a BIG plan for me. Thank you for accepting me as part of your family. You are one of my greatest inspirations. I am so grateful. 🙏 To our Ambassador and INUKA President, Claris Shava: Thank you for rising above all. Your achievements triggered something within my team. Keep lifting our flag high. Your growth is my growth too. To Sdumza, my great grandma in business: It is such a blessing to be part of your generation tree branches. The first time I met you in person was also my first time attending an SQ meeting at Menlyn for my Pearl recognition. You said something that gave me a different mindset towards the business. You said you are tired of us clapping our hands for your achievements all the time. It is high time that we clap our hands for ourselves, meaning we have to go out there and push more for a change. I appreciate you for all the motivation. To my mentors: Emanathi, during my Emerald journey, I will never forget all those endless calls. It was worth it. I am so grateful. Mum Rose, I appreciate you. You said, “Ivy, go out there and make me proud,” and I did that.

A quote from Proverbs 20:3 to 4 says: “Commit your work to the Lord, and your plans will be established.”

“The Lord has made everything for its purpose, even the wicked for the day of trouble.”

Challenges. Yes, there is no building without struggles. I did face challenges along the way. I remember when I was Ruby in 2022. I prepared a presentation in Pretoria, but no one showed up. It was only the host and the guest.

To my Pastors, Mr and Mrs Magaramombe:I appreciate your presence behind my story. Thank you.

But that didn’t give me a reason to quit. I failed, but I chose to step up because failure gives you only two choices: to step up or to stay down.

Lastly, I need to encourage everyone in the INUKA Business: Your time will come. Treasure this business like there is no tomorrow. To all single mothers: The world might not favour us, but hear me out. We are God’s most favoured. He said He will be the Father to the fatherless.

Appreciation. Allow me to appreciate the people who played a big role along my journey. I was raised by a widow. That was my mother. I thank her for moulding me into the person that I am today. The same woman who became a mockery in society because she was walking barefoot, carrying a hoe on her shoulder and working so hard to make sure her children wouldn’t go to bed hungry. She is now the same woman who is cruising in her daughter’s car because her daughter is selling INUKA. My heart is at peace because I am now able to provide her with the life that she deserves. Thank you, INUKA. To my son... As young as he is, at eight years old, he understands that sometimes I won’t be available to spend more time with him because I will be pushing my business for the best. To my team, Success Leaders, a team full of people who are FEARLESS and determined to push for a win, thank you for lifting me high. The Diamond came through because of your efforts. You are more precious than gold. I treasure each and every one of you.
