It was up seven percent when compared to the same four months of 2019. April 2020 production of container- board for export increased 29 percent compared to the same month last year; it was up 41 percent year-to-date. The containerboard operating rate was 95.9 percent, up 5.2 points from April 2019 and up 5.6 points year-to-date. Mill inventories of containerboard at the end of April de- creased 19,000 short tons from the previous month and were up 28,000 short tons compared to April 2019.
