Irvine 2/11 Marine Adoption Committee Holiday Toy Drive November 1–December 13 | Irvine City Hall, Irvine Police Department & Great Park Visitors Center Make the season brighter for Irvine’s adopted 2/11 Marine Battalion families and donate a new, unwrapped gift for infants or children ages 12 and younger. Drop off during normal business hours at Irvine City Hall, Irvine Police Department, and the Great Park Visitors Center. For more information, visit cityofirvine.org/211 or call 949-724-6600. Drive-thru Drop-off at Irvine Civic Center December 7, 9 a.m.–Noon | December 13, 9 a.m.–Noon The Irvine 2/11 Marine Adoption Committee will be on-site at the Irvine Civic Center Parking Lot next to the Bill Barber Park Stadium. Please follow the event directional signs to the toy drop-off area and have toys ready in the trunk and/or back seat of your vehicle. Volunteers will assist with retrieving your toy donation. Holiday Faire November 8 | 10 a.m.–4 p.m. | Great Park Palm Court Arts Complex More than 100 talented local artists will showcase unique handmade gifts for purchase including holiday decorations, hand-blown glass, ceramics, jewelry, folk crafts, clothing, and more. Letters to Santa November 24–December 12 | Mailboxes available at Heritage Park Community Center, Turtle Rock Community Center, Northwood Community Center, and Portola Springs Community Center Santa would love to hear from his friends! Drop off your letter to Santa at participating community centers and get a reply as fast as reindeer fly. All letters will receive responses which can be picked up where the letter was received.
