It is a privilege to serve as your Interim City Manager, bringing nearly three decades of executive leadership experience in municipal government. Since joining Irvine in 2023, I have served as the City’s Director of Project Delivery & Sustainability, followed by the role of Assistant City Manager overseeing the Great Park and External Operations. I am grateful for the opportunity to help lead our organization at such an exciting time for our City, as we continue moving forward on important initiatives including: J Establishing our Irvine Public Library. J Building the largest municipal park in the country. J Taking on once-in-a-generation infrastructure projects such as the Irvine Fieldhouse, the Irvine Animal Care Center renovation, the Jeffrey Open Space Trail Bicycle and Pedestrian Bridge, and the Jamboree & Michelson Pedestrian Bridge. J Redefining the future of mobility. At the same time, we remain committed to delivering the outstanding services and programs that make Irvine one of the most livable cities in the nation, from our award-winning parks and open space to our vibrant arts and community offerings. We are looking ahead to our fall festivals and I hope you will join us in celebrating our diverse community at Fiesta Latina en Irvine, Mid-Autumn Festival, and the Irvine Global Village Festival. I look forward to working with you in the coming months to ensure Irvine remains a remarkable place to live, work, and thrive.
