2024 Wine & Food Pairing Fundraiser Most Successful to Date Friday, May 3, 2024 marked another financially successful, sold-out fundraiser for the Rotary Club of London Hyde Park. The 120 guests were presented with six dishes representing the best in Spanish cuisine by West Haven’s Chef Darrell and his staff. Each dish was accompanied by a wine specifically selected by our wine expert Malcolm to enhance the dishes and wake up the taste buds. As a special treat, recipes for the dishes served, along with suggestions of wines to serve with them were included in the program printed by Sterling Marking Products. Funds earned through sponsorships, silent and live auctIons and the raffle allow our small club to carry out the projects approved by the club. Tickets cover expenses. Our treasurer Toni reports that we will net just over $19,000 to do good both in the local and internatIonal communiIes. Sponsorships and Raffle proceeds were up, Silent AucIon proceeds were down and Live Auction proceeds were up from last year.
