This month builder members recognize their partners, friends and colleagues that make up more than half of the Dal- las Builders Association membership. Thanks to the efforts of suppliers, vendors, subcontractors and tradespeo - ple, the Dallas Builders Association is growing and the housing industry in
this region is strong,
Builders, land developers and remodelers alike all appreciate the value of the associate members they partner with and why it is so important for them to be part of the Dallas BA. Although some job titles of as- sociates—such as marketing/ promo - tional services, audio/visual, automo - tive—are not always what comes to mind when thinking about the home building industry, the Dallas BA’s associate members have been and will always be a vital piece of the Association. “From devoting countless volun - teer hours in divisions, councils and committees to being the first in line to donate to the Association’s political ac- tion committee, HOMEPAC, associate members never miss an opportunity to support the Association,” observes Alyssa Morales, staff membership coordinator. “Associate members recognize the vital importance of membership in the Dallas BA and support their builder and developer partners in multiple ways,” agrees Dallas BA Executive Officer Gena Godinez. “The insight and expertise of our associates is help- ing builders transcend many of today’s challenges. Their individual ability to elevate our entire industry has never been more important.” Donnie Evans of Altura Homes, immediate past president of the Texas Association of Builders and a Dallas BA past president, emphasises that “we wouldn’t be where we are today with- out our associate members. Anytime I ask for their support they give it.” The Association is honored to be able to have associates as members and looks forward to celebrating them for many years to come!
