DISCOURSE WITH PRIVATE HIGHER EDUCATION, EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION & TVET SECTORS 26 August 2020, MIGHT
In 2018, the private education sector contributed RM 31.5 billions to the Malaysian economy. It would potentially grow to RM 65 billion by 2025 and RM 84 billion by 2030 on a conservative extrapolation of 5-6% growth rate per annum. More that 30 representatives from the private education sector gathered to discuss the issues, challenges and trends of the industry to formulate strategies and initiatives for the New Industrial Master Plan. Among the representatives of the industry were the members of Early Childhood Care & Education Council (ECCE), Malaysian Association of Private Colleges and Universities (MAPCU) and Federation of JPK Accredited Centers, Malaysia (FeMAC) for TVET sectors.
