VentureTECH has joined the New York-based Global Impact Investing Network (GIIN) in its continuous pursuit of the generation of positive social, environmental and economic impact for the benefit of the country and the community at large. With the breadth of global alliances of 340 members across 47 countries, GIIN is recognised as the global champion of impact investing dedicated to building infrastructure that facilitates growth in the scale and effectiveness of impact investing around the world. The aptly timed recognition has further benefitted VentureTECH’s impact investment focus that has been intensified to help all its investees weather through the challenges posed by COVID-19, complementing government’s tremendous efforts and commitment to revive the economy as well as ensuring business sustainability across all industries. This association with a global network of like-minded players will also enhance VentureTECH’s readiness and substantiate the company’s role in helping build the local industry particularly the Bumiputera players under the upcoming 12th Malaysia Plan, 2021-2025. Other benefits of becoming a network member of the global platform include facilitating the exchange of knowledge, sharing of industries’ best practices, offering avenue for strategic collaboration opportunities as well as bridging VentureTECH’s investees to markets abroad.
