A working site visit was conducted to ViTrox Corporation Berhad to understand the application of 4th Industrial Revolution at the production factory by one of the successful local players in the machinery & equipment industry. As part of New Industrial Master Plan (NIMP) study, this provides a good benchmark to other local players to venture into a niche area and learn of the journey taken by ViTrox in becoming a key player in the global industry value chain.
SOLID WASTE MANAGEMENT FOR PENANG STATE 25 August 2020, Penang Penang State Government is planning to develop a roadmap on solid waste management for Penang State. MIGHT shared the best practices in developing a road map with the Office of the State Secretary. MIGHT together with the Local Government Division also visited the waste landfill located in Pulau Burung to collect information on the technology and methodology used in treating and managing solid waste. The roadmap will provide strategic guidance to Penang State on the long-term sustainable planning of land development by integrating viable technologies in managing solid waste generated by the city.
