The trans- action is subject to customary closing conditions and is ex- pected to close in the second quarter of 2022. Weyerhaeuser Company, one of the world’s largest private owners of timberlands, began operations in 1900. The company owns or controls approximately 11 million acres of timberlands in the U.S. and manages additional timberlands under long-term licenses in Canada. It man- ages these timberlands on a sustainable basis in compli- ance with internationally recognized forestry standards. Bobst Launches New Training Course With AICC, The Packaging School Mex, Switzerland based Bobst, a global manufacturer and supplier of print and packaging technologies, has part- nered with AICC, The Independent Packaging Associa- tion, and The Packaging School to launch a new training and education course dedicated to the corrugated market. “Innovations and machinery advancements in the cor- rugated industry” is a modular program that will enable brands and converters to better understand the current state of the corrugated sector, taking into account market trends, demands and machinery advancements. The AICC, through The Packaging School, develops free online courses to close the gap in corrugated, fold- ing carton and rigid box industry training and support the needs of production, sales, service, design and finance departments.
