Updates
CONSENT / RE-GEN CAMPAIGN It’s been a busy and somewhat painful few days for Karl given he sent out consent request emails to 35,000 people in our database. This was somewhat of a database cleanse activity, which we also used as an opportunity to regenerate any old candidates that we hadn’t been in touch with for a significant period of time. The good news is that we’ve had over 100 direct responses and counting from people saying they are open to new opportunities so please watch out for emails coming from Becky if the candidate is in your sector. Please ensure you go back to the candidate even if you don’t have anything suitable for them at this time. DIFFERENT BY DESIGN CAMPAIGN We started to bring our new strapline and brand positioning ‘Different by Design’ to life through a campaign that will run throughout August. Last week we launched a video, and then the following 3 weeks, will focus on the aspects of DBD; People, Process & Expertise. Please do make the most of this campaign and talk about it / share it on your own social media with your own commentary around it. BID RECRUITMENT WEBSITE The new Bid Recruitment website is in build stage and should be ready to launch in early September. We’ve had a scoping meeting with Dan and the website agency, so all content and designs have been agreed. NEW COLLATERAL We’re in the process of updating our collateral with the new tone of voice and brand. A new overview brochure about MRG will soon be available as will a global brochure, a work for us brochure and a welcome brochure. And finally, I wanted to take the opportunity to say goodbye and good luck to Becky, who moves to Oz next week. I’m sure everyone agrees, she has made such a positive impact on the business taking up the reins whilst Fatima has been on maternity leave. On a personal level, I have learnt so much from Becky and will miss her being part of the team.
MARKETING FROM CHARLOTTE
WEBSITE UPDATE It’s been a busy month in the marketing and ops team since the conference. It’s been our objective to ensure that the new website is having a positive impact and that it’s working as it should be. The initial stats looks good; our bounce rate is reduced, time on site is longer than it was this time last year and pages per session viewed have also increased. We’re also going to do some analysis on the job applications that have come through in the first month. As per the comms that have been sent out by both myself and Karl over the last week, please remember that applications to roles via the website now go straight back into Bullhorn against that opportunity so be sure to be checking and responding to applicants please. You will no longer be getting an email from Becky with the applications as this was just a workaround. We will also shortly be putting in place a new process for speculative CVs, but more on that to follow in the coming week or so. If you haven’t already, please secure your place on the ‘Essential Back Office Skills for New Website’ training which is taking place on the 18th and 23rd of August, as this will take you through, step by step, the new processes surrounding our new website and it’s integration with Bullhorn.
