Always get consent from the victim/survivor. Participation should be voluntary. Confidentiality should be upheld. Always prioritise the physical safety of the interviewer and interviewee. Have a provision of crisis intervention where needed. Ensure that the victim is not subjected to secondary harm/victimisation. In your conduct, be guided by your highest ethical standards.
