Girl! You Know I Matter Conference

The demands of life can sometimes be overwhelming, leaving many of us yearning for 'just a break'. This year we decided to honour all our hard-working guests by hosting the Girl! You Know I Matter 5th conference in Zanzibar, Tanzania. Our aim is to satisfy two big needs simultaneously - an educational conference and a restorative retreat. Girl! You Know I Matter is an annual women’s conference that brings together women from diverse backgrounds. The purpose of the conference is to empower women with tools and strategies that will help them face and overcome life challenges, in a safe, fun and interactive environment. It is also a platform for women to show case their skills, ideas and businesses. The conference enables attendees to come together to network, connect and unwind. It is an opportunity to showcase the skills of women through talk sessions and promotes tourism and inter-cultural and inter-generational experiences by hosting the conference at rotating venues, provinces and countries. Natalie Abrahams is the Founder of I Matter , a global network for men, women, and children, connecting the individual to the whole. The purpose of the network is to inspire and educate through coaching, conferences, inspirational talks, talk shows and books on matters relating to holistic health and well-being. I Matter also works with organizations nationwide to eradicate GBVF and launched a book called “Made to Last” which is a compilation of stories from thirteen inter-generational and inter-cultural women.
