Laurie’s eyes filled with tears. The boy’s name was Christopher Ramirez. Laurie had done random acts of kindness before, but she’d never been able to see the results of those acts. “My mum had to work a double shift yesterday because somebody called in sick, and she was exhausted,” Christopher continued. “You made my mum really happy.” At this point the whole class was excited and talking about the amazing coincidence. The children began sharing with the class random acts of kindness they’d done. The mood in the classroom transformed and all throughout the day children shared their stories. When Laurie went home that day, she shared her experience on Facebook. Here we are sharing it with you. There’s real power in kindness. It makes everyone involved happier, lowers stress levels, and just makes the planet a better place to live. It also strengthens relationships and creates trust, two things that are critical in building a Melaleuca business. When you live Melaleuca’s mission of enhancing lives, you’ll find your life is blessed as well. How a Simple Act Can Enhance Lives “Mrs. Pisciotta, that was my mum you gave the balloons to!
