"M.I.D. House of Diamonds" established Know Your Customer policy. To maintain a responsible and practicable business, we will ensure that we have a responsible belief of the true identity of our clients. Documents to identify and verify clients will be obtained prior to any engagement. A know your customer form will be used as a guide to ensure that sufficient information is obtained in order for us to know and to ascertain some basic background of our clients, e.g. occupation, employment, history of political exposure.
Forming a new legal entity
Before forming a legal entity for a new client, we will collect the following documents from the person, entity or organization that engages us for the services listed above where applicable: • Identification cards • Passports • Incorporation documents (in the case of legal persons) Verify the identity of the beneficial owner to the extent that we are satisfied that we know who the beneficial owner is.
Existing Clients
We will conduct regular reviews on the existing business relationships and transactions to ensure that they are consistent with our knowledge of the client's business and source of funds.
Lack of Verification
In case that "M.I.D. House of Diamonds" management cannot form a responsible belief about the identity of a client, "M.I.D. House of Diamonds" will not establish a business relationship or proceed with any transaction with this client. The MLRO will be notified accordingly to determine whether a suspicious transaction report should be lodged.
