Following a difficult weekend last week, the Nationals finally got home ice advan- tage and capitalized by defeating the Renfrew Wolves in a tight over-time victory. Facing off against Renfrew with a home crowd of 460 people, the Nationals took the lead late in the first with a 14th-minute goal from Nicholas White. An early goal from the Wolves in the second was quickly nullified by Charles Locas who found the net during a mid-period power- play. Despite the lead going into the third period, the Nats conceded two points giving the Wolves the lead until Jordan Prepszl equalized the score, sending the game into overtime. Prepszl continued the pressure and gave the Nationals the game winning goal just 1:10 into overtime. The Nationals’ home advantage was short lived, however, venturing to Carleton Place to face off against the Canadians. The Nats were always trailing, going down 2-0 in the first four minutes of play. Goals from Patrick Lanthier, Adriano Lombardo-Tullo, Nicholas White and new signing Jonathan Swyer, against his former club, kept the Nationals in the game. In the end, a late goal was not enough to give the Nats a second win on the weekend, the final score ending 6-4 for the Canadians. On Friday, November 4, the Nationals take on the Braves in Brockville, having defeated them 6-5 at the Bell Sensplex in early Octo- ber. For the second game of the weekend, the Nats are looking to recover three points at home against the Kemptville 73’s, who just last week defeated the Nats 5-2.

Through our understanding of how radioactive molecules can be used to target cancer cells in men with advanced prostate cancer, we helped to create clearer imaging, resulting in improved means of destroying cancer cells.

Our fathers, partners, brothers and friends face a health crisis that isn’t being talked about. Men are dying too young. We can’t afford to stay silent.

Testicular cancer Worldwide, around 70,000 men are diagnosed with testicular cancer each year. Thankfully, the survival rate for men with testicular cancer is very high – 95%. As we mentioned above, early detection is vital, so it’s essential to regularly check for anything that doesn’t feel right. The Macmillan website has a dedicated page, showing you the proper way to check for lumps. If something doesn’t seem right, make sure you visit your GP. Although survival rates are high, long-term side effects from treatment can take their toll. Movember focuses on helping men get back to living life to the full and supporting them going forward. Mental health Mental health has become even more of a topic for discussion following the lockdowns. Not only did being in lockdown put a severe strain on our mental health, but it also made it more challenging to get the expert help needed. Many people are on the waiting list for mental health support or treatment. Sadly, the suicide rate in men is significantly and consistently higher than their female counterparts across the world. Data from Statista shows that in 2020, the rate of suicides per 100,000 was 15.4% among males, compared to 4.9% among females. Separate data from the Office for National Statistics revealed that males aged 45-49 have the highest suicide rate. Men have a harder time talking about their issues, often keeping things bottled up. For this reason, Movember’s focus when it comes to mental health is to get more men talking. Having those conversations is the first step to bettering your mental health. If you want to do your bit and raise some money for fantastic causes, here is how you can get involved. The first is simple; just don’t shave this November – your top lip, that is. Simply sign up, grow a moustache and raise vital funds while raising awareness of men’s health issues. For those looking to get active, there is Move for Movember. The challenge is to run or walk 60km across the month of November – that’s 1km for each of the 60 men lost to suicide across the world each hour. Of course, you can also get creative. Whether it’s hosting an event or completing a challenge, your support makes a difference. Exigences: • Aimer relever des défis • Posséder de l’entregent • Posséder de l’expérience dans le domaine de la vente

• Être bilingue (français, anglais), écrit et oral • Faire preuve de détermination et de créativité • Respecter les heures de tombées • Être capable de travailler en équipe et avec un minimum de supervision • Posséder une voiture et l’utiliser pour le travail avec un minimum de supervision le travail
