Wall panels and trusses are fully described, piece by piece in the plan set. And the metal plan is completely engineered including the wall panels and trusses and an International Building Code (IBC) Stamp is provided as well as the stamp of an engineer in your state. 2. FrameUpNow will provide a complete set of fixtures, connectors and fasteners to complete the erecting of the skeleton. 3. A generic Materials Shopping List is provided so that you can plan and select all the materials beyond the skeleton required to complete the home. Home Depot is an excellent source for finishing materials. 4. A complete set of how-to videos are available to guide you in erecting the skeleton. Framing in Wood The plan set in this document is designed with 24-inch centers. That means that the wall studs are 24 inches apart from one another. To build this plan in wood: 1. Build your wall panels on 16” centers. Wood warps and twists and 16” centers help overcome wood variables. Purchase your connection hardware and connector fasteners from Home Depot. 2. Engage a truss manufacturer to design and manufacture your trusses. The truss manufacturer will engineer and manufacture the trusses and provide a drawing and calculation booklet of the trusses for you to provide to the jurisdiction for permit approval.
