Rdr permitted to ride 0.5kg over allocated weight. Rdr std he was obliged to make some use of his mount in the early stages to obtain a position outside the leader. He said that when under pressure in the straight his mount was impeded on several occasions, particularly near the 300m and again at the 200m. He said that although it gave ground over the final 150m, he was not disappointed with his mount’s performance. A post-race vet exam did not reveal any abs. RHIL 11/03/2023 Experienced some difficulty obtaining clear running in the early stages of the run to the finish. CAUL 24/02/2024 Laid in under pressure in the straight. SANH 01/10/2023 Rider could offer no explanation. Slow recovery. FLEM 02/03/2024 Raced keenly in the early and middle stages.SANL 21/02/2024 Restrained in the early stages and settled towards the rear of the field. When shifting out to improve rounding the home turn, shifted out abruptly before being straightened. SANH 06/09/2023 Rider - he had to make some use of his mount in the early stages however he was satisfied with the performance of the colt and in his opinion would benefit from stepping up in distance for its next race start. Rider stated that whilst the gelding was under pressure at the entrance to the straight his mount continued to find the line and in his opinion may appreciate the addition of blinkers.
