SUSHI HUB CAT PRECINCT (N-11) NEW - SHEEP SHEARING WHEN: 10am, 11:30am, 1pm, 2:30pm and 4pm daily WHERE: Sheep Shearing Stage (N-11) Sheep shearing duo Jonathan and Vineta will demonstrate their skills at the Ekka for the very first time.Ekka guests will see blade shearing and fleece throwing in action, plus they’ll learn about the shearing equipment. BUSH POETRY PERFORMANCES WHEN: 11am and 12pm daily (except Sunday 13 & 20 August) Queensland's best speakers will show off their rhythm as they recite poems in front of Ekka goers. These passionate poets will perform their favourite bush ballads for 30 minutes.
