DOUGIE’S DONUTS – NEW Satisfy your sweet tooth and taste your way through Dougie’s Donuts this Ekka. These fresh donuts are sure to be a crowd pleaser, with flavours like the popular Lemon Meringue with a lemon curd filling, Fairy Bread and Pink Sprinkle for the perfect Instagram, Vanilla Slice, M&M Nutella, and more sugary delights. HOMEMADE DUMPLINGS – NEW In the mood for delicious, individually hand rolled dumplings? These authentic Chinese dumplings are the real deal, thanks to this family business. The pork and chives, known as the ‘crowd favourite’ are not to be missed. Other flavours to try include the prawn, pork and chives, chicken and cabbage, and beef, onion, and carrot dumplings. TOASTIE BOY – THEY’RE BACK You better brie-lieve it – Toastie Boy is bringing back their humble (and delicious) $3 golden cheese toastie. This year there’s a salty twist… for the first time, Toastie Boy will offer the iconic USA’s Van Holten’s Pickles to add as a side.

COCO CHEESE HOTDOG – NEW The Korean inspired street food, CoCo Cheese Hotdogs, are coming to Ekka for the first time. The crunchy corn dogs are filled with cheesy mozzarella, with a range of coatings like sweet potato, ramen, or the original corn dog. Finish this juicy experience off with a saucy topping of your choice.

CHARRED – THEY’RE BACK This sizzling outlet is returning, featuring award-winning beef and lamb sourced directly from the Royal Queensland Awards, which crowns the nation’s best. The menu will include award-winning slow roasted lamb served on a milk bun with minted yoghurt, a 12-hour smoked beef brisket baguette, using gold medal winning beef, combo meals and don’t forget the golden fries as the perfect side. You’ll also find a Charred outlet on Gourmet Plaza. FISH IN THE FAMILY – NEW Indulge in fresh seafood in the Woolworths Fresh Food Pavilion this Ekka thanks to Fish in the Family. Taste North Queensland Tiger Prawns and South Australian Coffin Bay Oysters, served with a wedge of lemon and seafood sauce. You’ll feel like you’re beside the seaside.
