from the chair As more people become aware of the foundation and the important work we undertake, the number of funding requests has started to increase. Whilst this is encouraging, we would still like to see more requests coming from our members and the communities that they are working with. If you have not visited our Facebook page,_ www.facebook.com/thatfoundation please do so and share with as many people as possible. Cooley’s Corporate Dinner I would like to extend a huge thanks to Alexia Kalis, Paul Foreman and the Kalis Group for again hosting our corporate dinner this year. The night was an outstanding success with over $19,000 raised to support children in need. This night would not be possible without the amazing support of all the event sponsors and businesses who bought a table on the night.

Donations Below are some of the donations the foundation has made during June and July.
Donation 1 July provided a very humbling experience when we were taken on a tour of the Royal Hobart Hospital Neonatal & Pediatric Intensive Care Unit. The Foundation was pleased to be able to support the unit through the purchase of some new Symphony Plus Cards. These cards are critical for mothers to express milk for these crucial periods in a child's life.
Donation 2 Sam who is a 16 year old boy who was diagnosed with malignant cancer in 2016. He has spent over 12 months in hospitals and still has a long road ahead. Sam had chemotherapy and a full amputation of his right leg and half of his pelvis. Sam has a strong love of the bush including fishing and shooting. The foundation was
able to provide a gym membership and personal training sessions to assist Sam build up the strength required to leave hospital .
It is also great to see that the Spica Chairs we funded earlier this year are now being utilised by Tasmanian children following their hip surgery.
