TEMPLE OF THE VEDIC PLANETARIUM CALENDAR 2022
The TOVP 2022 Calendar is a picture collection of the historic Grand Prabhupada Welcome Ceremony on October 14 & 15, 2021
With the continuing pandemic and resultant obstacles, it is difficult to determine exactly the course of events in 2022 for the TOVP and plan definitive timelines for anticipated accomplishments and goals. And, once those plans are set in motion it is most discouraging to have to postpone them to some unknown future date. In any case, we must continue despite all odds. Although we could not install the new murti of Srila Prabhupada in the TOVP for his 125th Appearance Anniversary Year, being true to the motto, PRABHUPADA IS COMING!, we decided instead to welcome him to the TOVP with a Grand Welcome Ceremony named Prabhupada Vaibhava Darshan Utsav and perform the scheduled abhishekas. His presence in the TOVP now is essential to guide and inspire us to complete the TOVP as soon as possible. Based on the above statements we have also decided to postpone the opening of the Nrsimha Wing and official installation of Srila Prabhupada to 2023. Additionally, the Grand Opening of the TOVP has been rescheduled
for some time in 2024. We request you to please pray to the Lord that there may be no further major delays to our progress, and the above timeline is accomplished. 2022 celebrates five very special events: the Golden Jubilee installation year of chota Radha Madhava, the Centennial Celebration of Srila Prabhupada’s receiving the first verbal order from Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Saraswati to preach the message of Lord Caitanya in the English language, the 50th Anniversary of the first Gaur Purnima Festival at ISKCON Mayapur and the laying of the TOVP cornerstone by Srila Prabhupada, as well as Jananivas prabhu’s 50 th year as Head Pujari in Mayapur. On March 4 & 5 we have planned a major event to commemorate these five important anniversaries. Once again, we offer this 2022 calendar to our worldwide donors for their pleasure and inspiration. The calendar is available both as a physical calendar in North America and to our worldwide donors on the TOVP website on the Flipbook Collection page.
