Our Sins On Him Dr. Jow ett tells of a dream told him by a friend of his. The man in his dream beheld a stupendous range of glorious sun-lit mountains w ith th e ir lower slopes enfolded in white mist. “Lord,” he cried, “ I p ray th a t I may dwell upon these heigh ts.” A voice replied, “ You may, bu t first go down into th is vale.”
He went into th e vale and th ere found him self surrounded w ith all man n er of fierce, ugly, loathsome things. As he looked upon them , he saw they were th e incarnation of his own sins— sins long ago comm itted, show ing th eir th reaten ing teeth before him. Then he heard someone approaching, and he knew it was Jesus Christ. He felt so ashamed he covered his face and
